Could tomorrow really be Friday
Worked out twice this week so far. The trainer I hired last week seems to have bailed on me and now I have to start over with another trainer that I really haven't enjoyed my first impressions with :( not a happy camper that is for sure.
Shawn leaves to go snowboarding Saturday. That should be really fun. He has never been.
I sold 2 paintings. The Tower which I posted Sunday and the poppy but in red.
Haven't really had much time to do anything else this week.
Here's to a great weekend and some computer catch up time

workout...
Love that gym. And the Personal Trainer was sooooo nice and will meet with me Wednesday to get a workout plan in place.
Love it already.
Now that I am done with that and ready to start a new chapter in my life...I need to get scrapping. This weekend baby....it's going to be a scrappy weekend for sure!

another painting...and frigid temps
It is slowly melting and should all be gone by Monday I would think. We should get back up into the 50's for highs. Hopefully then we can get the heater completely working. It has hung in for almost 2 days now...knock on wood.
I got up this morning and needed to paint so here my creation for the day. This one is 16x20. I also hung the "coffee" set up in my kitchen. My first paintings to hang in my house. I am extremely proud of them :) and really like them hanging there. I think I just might go hang another painting in my bedroom that I have hung on to for a while now. Might as well enjoy them right.
didn't get any scrapping done this weekend nor did I finish working on the quilt. But I did do alot of facebooking and games...lol.
For this week: Well I have my first weigh in for the month. I plan on joining the gym down the street. I plan on completing a full week at work with no catasrophies. And I plan on attending a painting class this coming up Saturday. Here's to a good week!

A few paintings for ya...nd SNOW
I think I would of rather been at work so that I wouldn't have to listen to arguing, etc...but anyway....the kids were out of school and the roads were pretty bad. Now I know you guys that see this stuff every year wonder what our hang up is about snow...BUT....in the south...people just do not know how to drive in his stuff. Not only did we get a dusting of snow...but what you DONT see under that pretty white stuff is the solid sheet of ice that we guys here in the south get. lovely ice. Ice that caused a 21 car pile up on 2-85 this morning. Ice that pretty much closed all the "rabbit trail" roads and secondary roads. It was a mess this morning. This afternoon. and I am sure this evening as it hasn't gotten into the 30's yet today so all this stuff is staying at least for another day.
On top of that...we had NO heat once again. What ever they did Thursday...well it blew the fuse again and this time there was NO emergency heat so we had to sleep with the kerosene heater going. Which made for a very unrestful night as I was afraid something would catch on fire, etc. the HVAC guys came back out today and replaced a heating strip and now it is running on emergency. They want to see if it will do that through the weekend and then come back out on monday to work on the actual unit to see what the problem is there.
Sooooooooo since I had to stay home today...I got 3 paintings done :) Whatcha think! All are for sale and I think they turned out pretty cool. I hug my Coffee set that I did the other day in my kitchen. I love it! And very proud of myself. I guess I need to make a few more just in case someone else likes them or I can do it as a "custom order" kinda thing. We will see I guess.
Alrighty...signing off and getting to work on this quilt that I am having a doozy of a time finishing.
