Better late than never

I didn't know if I was going to get this AWESOME sketch by  Liz Qualman, at Imaginisce,  completed or not before the deadline. Every time I tried to get started on it something would happen. either a fight with the family or company would surprise us. And sadly, once that creative bug goes away it is hard to get it back. BUT....I had an idea for this page and I really, really wanted to get it done.

I love working with new scrapbooking tools. The i-top is something new I haven't worked with yet and I really loved it. I thought it made the most perfect centers for these flowers. And then of course I used the i-rock which I have loved since I got it!

It's hard to see in this picture but I used lots of glitter. I drug out my winter wonderland Cricut Cartridge and just started cutting out tons of snowflakes. Next came the glitter. And let me just say....I had it EVERYWHERE. I don't know if I will ever get all this glitter gone...lol.

Supplies used:
Imaginisce - irock and itop
Imaginisce - Enchanted Princess Posies, Cottage Christmas Witner Woods, Cottage Christmas Christmas Countdown, Scooters Vacation Bon Voyage
Stampin Up dimensionals
American Craft Thickers
Magistical Memories chipboard by Amy Teets

I hope you like it as much as I do. I think it is fun and lots of 3D elements which are just so hard to capture in a picture.

Now it is time to enjoy the family for Christmas Eve. I just graciously lost a board game of Twilight with my daughter. My husband is snoring away in the chair. And the kids are now playing Chess! And mom patiently waits for everyone to retire to their room so that Santa can make an appearance and then go climb into bed and get some much needed sleep ;)
