It has been a fun filled day that is for sure!
It started with a nice crisp morning...drinking my coffee...playing on facebook...
and then the creative mode hit. I started painting 3 pictures (only to find out later in the day that I painted them the wrong color...oops) and started a scrapbook page from some awesome K&Company paper.
Kayla and I then hit Kohls, Target, Michaels and the Goodwill store. Got a few things at least.
When I got home from errands I decided to check my email. MAN am I glad I did! I started shaking....tears started forming....I was giddy as could be...why you ask. WELLLL....let me just tell you. I opened an email from Magistical Memories. Their DT call ended yesterday. I was so shocked to find that I was one of the 5 girls they picked for the new additions to the team. - gasp -
to be honest I was soooo not expecting that at all but I am 100% tickled and excited!!! I can't wait to play with awesome chipboard.
After I caught my breath I had to head on out with Kayla to her OB appointment. To check on our little butterbean. Today was the day that we find out what her/him was....it moved and moved and waved and didn't like the ultrasound that is for sure. had a perfect little heart. perfect little head. And spread those little ole legs wide, wide so that we could she it was a
GIRL!!!
For a moment I was a little sad because I was really getting myself worked up for a little boy. But....there isn't anything in the Nanna books that says I can't make my little grandaughter a tomboy now is there...lol!
Kayla and the baby are doing fine. She is 20 weeks and 4 days. Due date still Valentine's Day.
So over all it was a great day. Lots of smiles. Giggles. and Tears
Tomorrow....will be more tears as my baby boy will be turning 17! Wow. I can't believe that. 17!

Congratulations on both accounts! Seeing your granddaughter for the first time had to be such a great feeling. Once she is here, you will completely forget that you wanted a boy :-) Babies have a way of making those sorts of things happen.
You will do a great job with your new DT assignment! Good for you...you are very deserving!

Congrats on making the DT and double congrats on your granddaughter. My son is a Valentine's baby and he stole my heart from the very start.
