So I decided I needed to get started on baby album. I'm a little behind since Kayla is now 21 weeks...but...at least I am working on it right?
I fell in LOVE with a Specialty Paper pack from K&Company. This patterned paper is textured and the red parts....they are cool and neat feeling. I cut as much of the red flowers on stems out as I could so that I could layer them along the top and bottom of the layout. I used some Bazzill green, white and red paper for accents and the handmade flowers. I really loved the pop of red that this layout has. So.....page 2 of the grandbaby album done! Now if I could just get a few more pages completed before she makes her arrival in 4 months.
I did some revamping on the blog today.

Fun huh! :) you really need to check out some of their blogs! Some awesome talent and wonderful projects.
Fantastic Find:
My friend Emily had an old typewriter that she let me buy from her! Oh boy I can't WAIT to use it on some cards and layouts!
Quilt Progress:
Slow...lol! I worked on it another hour this evening. Only cut my leg with the needle once but no needle sticks in the fingers :) that is progress I tell ya! But I did get the stamp of approval from Emily who let me just say makes some AWESOME quilts and I will forever cherish the two she finished of my grandmothers.
I'm planning on putting together a scrapbook kit giveaway with-in the week. So make sure you come back often. I don't want you to miss winning a kit.
hope to see you back here soon!
