Totally Blown Away

WOW. that is about all I have said for the last 10 hours....lol. I couldn't even sleep. I got 4 hours of sleep and then just layed in bed....why you ask?

I'm a Dottess!!!!!!

I can't begin to tell you how many Manufacturer Design Teams I have applied for and received that many no's. After so many no's it really gets hard to keep applying...just being honest here. I can't begin to tell you how many times I thought about giving up. BUT......I didn't. that is the leason to learn today....never give up. Ever. Because if you keep trying and keep trying....eventually that door will open for you! And it DID!!!!!

I've been stalking the Glue Dots blog and facebook page since June waiting to see the Design Team announcement. and to be really honest....I didn't think I had a chance and I was all worked up to see a no coming my way.

But let me just tell you the surprise I saw when I got that email yesterday with a big CONGRATS! I fell over and don't laugh here...I started boohooing! I was so excited I ran out the house and was jumping for joy while my husband looked at me like I was an idiot...lol. (sometimes the men just don't understand!). I honestly thought this day would never come and I can't explain how excited I am to finally get through this door!! This will be so much fun! I have loved Glue Dots since the first time I used them at CKU Atlanta...they were a sponsor. And they have always been so kind. When I went to CKU Nashville, they donated a bag and adhesive for me to give to my secret sister because the gifts we were making had to be about the state we live in.

WOW....this has really boosted my confidence back up and I will keep plugging at everything I want to set my heart out there for.

I'm off today...which is a good thing since I didn't get any sleep...lol. But my day is full of errands. Today is Kayla's 17 week check. I wish we could find out what the baby is but alas....not until she is 20 weeks. I also have to set up my booth for Paulding Meadows which begins tomorrow. I probably want sleep tonight either with all the excitement with that. I am soooooo hoping I will sell something! or a few things would be nice. Heck a bunch! Might as well go for the gusto...lol
