getting ready for Memorial Day with Glue Dots

Before we know it....Memorial Day will be here. So I thought I would get a jump start on the holiday and get a wreath made for the door. This is an inexpensive way to put together any decoration for the holiday.
The wreath is only $5 at your local craft store and if you look hard enough you may be able to find the flowers you need on sale or even clearanced.

For this project, I used Glue Dot N Go ®. Take each of the flowers off the stems and just set aside until your ready to start attaching to the wreath.  I began attaching them by taking the Glue Dot and wrapping it around the bottom of the flower or the small stem that is attached to the flowers. Work your way around the wreath adding flowers or greenery as desired.

We have a quick Glue Dots advertisement here :) ...I have just completed 6 months now with Glue Dots and have LOVED it all. I hope you have enjoyed my projects as much as I have had fun making them. As a bonus, Glue Dots sent each of the Dotess Girls this fantastic handmade apron. I LOVE it. And boy how I needed an apron with all the crafting I got going on. Lets hope I can keep it clean and not a lot of paint on it. Thank you Glue Dots!

and we break for a quick baby picture. How could I give you a blog post with out a picture of Butterbean???

Okay back to our project....here is the completed wreath. Estimated time of project was about 30 minutes and $10! Can't beat that. I might even add some flags once Memorial Day gets closer and they start putting them out in the stores.
