Project 52 - Book 5

Can we say FAST READ! OMG I can't believe how fast I got through that book.
I read the 3rd book in the House of Night Series. It is getting good. I enjoy it when the good people start clashing with the bad people. I love seeing who will over come...even though we know it is usually the good people.

BUT....my daughter does not have book 4 and 5 so either I can wait and borrow them...or I can go out and buy them which I really don't want to have to do. Trying to stay on that budge ya know. And especially now if my husband is talking about buying yet ANOTHER car. I see his point. I understand really. but I am sick of paying car insurance already! anyway.....

I have a few more books ready for me to read...a couple Nicholas Sparks and another vampire/fairy book. Just not sure which one to grab and start reading.

I swear reading is wonderful. I don't know if I could go with out it. It takes me away from everything that is going on and I can become the characters and really feel the book. I love that. Especially when you get a really good author. It's magical. hmmmm....maybe I need to save up for a Nook or something along that lines. I said I would never go that route because I love the feel of a book but goodness...I could of already downloaded book 4 and 5 while I was typing this blog post...lol.

Oh well....

Guess this means I can find something else this evening to get me in trouble!

Have you ever read Diana Gabaldon? My all time favorite author... but not a light read... most of her books are close to 1000 pages. What vampire/fairy book are you reading? I read one a little while ago that had fairies... it was pretty good.

Once you get started in the House of Night series books it's easy to get hooked. I had to go out & buy each new one as soon as they were released (I bought mine at Walmart). After 8 books, book 9 isn't to be released until Nov of this year. By then, I forget who's who & need to reread the books. lol You could try Amazon & see if they have deals on boxed sets. I bought the boxed set of Vampire Academy off Amazon before xmas. Definately another good read. I'm on my 10th book so far (I'm sure I've missed a couple too)this year. I just picked up 3 new reads from the library yesterday so that should keep me busy for the next couple of weeks depending on how quickly I ready them.
