Can you believe it is Friday already! This week has really flown by to me. Thankfully.
Yesterday, Kayla and I spent a few hours at the drs office and Target. She was in some intense back pain so they wanted her to come in and get checked. We were ALL....and I mean everyone...was hoping for a quick check and then on our way to the hospital. But sadly...no change. Still dilated to only 1 cm. The little turkey has dropped a little more and is still in the sunny side position which she really doesn't need to be in...but no further developments. :( Needless to say we were all a little sad about that. Today is my grandmothers birthday and I was really hoping little Danie would be born today. I guess the day isn't over yet but the chances are pretty slim now. Her next appt is Monday and then we will go from there. Her due date is Monday so hopefully they want let her go to much over the 14th.
I took the rest of the day off. Didn't get much done. Took Kayla to Target to get some pain meds filled....shopped a little bit...picked up Shawn and took him to the chiropracter and worked on some quilt blocks.
Speaking of quilting...here is my latest purchase. This will be for the Birdie Stitches Quilt-A-Long that she has going on. This quilt will end up being another one for Danie but just larger than the first one I made. I can't wait to get started on it but I need to get a few other projects out of the way first. You know me. Way to many projects going.....
Speaking of projects....lol....here is my project in the works. I saved this oak spindle from the trash at my dads. Put together some Imaginisce flowers (love those things) a few buttons and some Bazzill flowers....and well...you will just have to wait and see what it all becomes. This is for the Imaginisce Challenge this month. I am determined to do every one of their challenges! Well, that is until I run out of thier product which might be sooner than I would like.
I haven't done much scrapping lately. I need to. I really, really need to. Just not enough time in the day these past few weeks. One minute I am painting...the next I am sewing...and then, well, you know the drill.
Okay....here I go....off to finish up this book I'm reading and then find someone that has the next two in the series...
PS...Happy Birthday Nanny. I so wish you were here to see your new great, great granddaughter. There is so much I would tell you and so much I would show you. You would be so tickled that I have picked up quilting. Just like you. I miss you. and will love you forever and always.
