Magistical Memories Flower Card

Welcome to my FIRST Magistical Memories blog post!!!

I'm very excited to be here.

Over the last year I have really enjoyed putting together cards. Not only is it a great way to use up some of that scrap paper that I just know you are keeping (just like myself!). Plus it is nice to have a variety of cards to grab from when that surprise occasion shows up.

I took some of the Magistical Memories Brad Flower chipboard and covered it with IOD Shimmer Flirty Little Secret and Sassafras Indian Summer Fruition patterned paper. I also grabbed a scrap piece of My Mind's Eye Frequency Grid paper and some textured pink cardstock.

Once the glue dried on the flowers, I took a finger nail file and roughed up the edges and gave them a good inking with some Tim Holtz inks. I cut the grid paper along the bottom so that I could add the pink cardstock for some added color. Then I was ready for the sewing. I penciled in a few lines where I would like them stems and leaf to be and used that as my guide to stitch them in.

Once all that was done I used Glue Dots Craft and Pop ® dots to attach the flowers. And finished off the card by adding some gems and some misc rub-ons by Crate Paper.
