What a beautiful weekend. It was just so nice to get away. I have to say the drive there and back was way to long for me (6 hours) but once we got to Charleston...it was so beautiful. Becca's wedding was stunning and she was a gorgeous bride. The beach was just WOW...Billy and I got up saturday and sunday morning at 7 am and walked on the beach...just the two of us. I loved it. I got some wonderful pictures. I can't wait to get them developed :)
Saturday we visited the USS Yorktown and several other ships. That was amazing too. There just was not enough time in the day to do everything I wanted. We still had to get back so the kids could play on the beach. They had a blast. We drove back Sunday...I tried to sleep most of the ride home but it was still a long drive. And back to work today...yuck.
We are getting ready for the family cook out this saturday at nanny's. I am really looking forward to that. And we also have our huge fundraiser at work for Breast Cancer Awareness this friday. I have lots of balloons to blow up and some decorations to do. I really want to get some good $$ raised.
And the most shocking of them all...in less than 7 days my baby.....my 5 foot squirt will turn 14!! OMG!! 14!!! It just can't be happening. nope...can't be!
