Creative Saturday and a giveaway

Don't cha just love days when you can get up and do nothing but create! After sending my boys off to the deer camp this morning....I fixed a few cups of coffee and started my morning. Began working on a layout which I can't share at the moment but don't worry....I will next week ;)
Then I decided to bring out the paints. I saw a project someone made with Mod Podge and paint chips last week. Well that just struck me as cool and I decided I was going to try an abstract painting based on that project. So far....here is stage one. Now for this to try and then I can begin stage two. I will need to run to Michael's and get some Mod Podge and can hopefully finish this by this evening.
And because I am in such a creative mood today, I thought I would put together a kit to give away! Hows that for a early morning Saturday! All you need to do to win this kit is leave become a follower of my blog and leave a comment below. If you share this giveaway on your facebook page and leave me a link...I will add your name in twice for the drawing.
You have until tomorrow (Sunday the 10th) at 8 pm (EST) and then I will draw a name so that I can get it out in the mail Monday. Good Luck :) And thank you in advance for stopping by!
On the scrappy homefront...I posted my first Magistical Memories blog post yesterday. If you get a chance please check it out and then while your on facebook please friend Magistical Memories. We are trying to get to 400 fans! I also was tickled to get two pages picked up for publication this week. That ALWAYS puts a smile on my face. And to top it off one was an altered canvas. That was the first time I have ever submitted a canvas.
Grandbaby...doing well. Kayla is getting so round now...lol! But that stubborn little one will still not let me feel her moving. Like mother like daughter I say.
Quilt...haven't picked it up in 3 days :( Like I have time to just let it set around. BUT...just haven't wanted to touch it lately. Maybe tonight. I still have a long way to go.
Well I will take off for now....to finish creating while the mood is there. Then I need to head out and take care of some errands so I can get back and create some more ;) Got to take advantage of the time while I can.

Congratulations on your publication! I am already a follower, but didn't make it by the deadline by several hours.

I did want to say that for some reason just being alone at home makes me feel more creative. Even if hubby is outside all day - he is still home. I feel most creative when interruptions are at a minimum and I don't have to think about time or any other respoinsibitiies for a few hours. To me, that is perfect crafty time!
