Not much going on around here. I actually scrapped a few pages the other day. One in honor of my hero and the other in honor of Nascar :). It felt good to just scrap. I really shouldn't stay away from it as much.
My friend Emily called me the other night to let me know that she saw 4 of my pages in the latest Scrapbooking & Beyond mag. I was soooooo excited. I can't wait to see this magazine. All 4 pages are so special to me and for them to be in one book...well..I am tickled beyond belief.
on the submitting front. well...I have been submitting every week now since September and nothing. not a bite. I have kinda felt my submitting days are about done. And if so...that is okay. I am so excited for the pages that I have been lucky enough to have had published and I so appreciate all my friends support to keep on submitting. It really has been a lot of fun. I don't think I will throw in the towel just yet but we will see. And I hardly see any manufacturer DT calls anymore. Oh well. I had hoped to focus on that this year but if there are no calls...guess I can't. We will see on that too... :)
anyway...I'm just having fun scrapping these days. No rush. No pressure. Just me...my paint...and some paper...having a blast!
