I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. Ours was wonderful. We headed out thanksgiving morning about 150 miles away to Franklin North Carolina with my parents and sister...with our campers in tow. We cooked a FANTASTIC dinner that afternoon with a tear jerker of a speach from my dad. Friday and Saturday we went gem mining which was so much fun. I just wish it would of been warmer so that we could of done it more. Saturday morning was 21 degrees!! the high never got out of the low 50's. if that.
But it was a blast. We got home around lunch time today and immediately put up the Christmas tree. It is sitting here glowing right next to me. I love it.
Been busy working on some DT stuff too. Be watching at IAMAScrapaholic for this next months kit. I have my hands in it right now and all I can say is yum. I just hope I can do this paper justice!

Rock on Jeffie!!!!!!

for those that know me...well...you know I am a diehard NASCAR race fan...and you also know that I am a diehard Jeff Gordon fan! My house can tell you that! Well I just have to say how stinkin proud I am of Jeff this year. He missed winning the champion ship by 70 points (but may I add that if this was the OLD POINT system he would of clinched championship SIX tonight...grrrrr). Can you tell I don't like the new point system. anway....he came in second which isn't anything to be disapointed about. But I sure wish he would of won. A little bit about his year! He DOMINATED this year with a 30 consecutive top 10 win streak! That in its self broke a record. He surpassed Earnhardt in the wins and has won a total of 82 races in his career. Just two more to tie with Bobbie Allison! He won 6 races this year. He also had the cutest baby ever over the summer!
Well...I'm sad....bummed...that he didn't clinch the championship but Jeff...I'm still your NUMBER ONE FAN!!! Let's get 'em next year!!!
ROCK ON 24!
Just a little layout that I made last weekend to show off my Atlanta Motor Speedway tickets from this past March :)

Happy Friday.....

WOHOOO! It's friday thank goodness. Just killing a bit of time before I run my son to the Movies to meet some friends. Then we wait around to see if the football team won their first play off game. Kayla is there now.
And I got a WONDERFUL email today. A page I made just last night was picked up for Scrapbooking & Beyond! YEAH. It will be in the spring issue which will have an article on weddings :) I SOOOO love those kind of emails!
Here are a few more from this scrapathon week....

Summary of this week

I had a wonderful birthday. I was surprised with lots of cards and some fun gifts...like ornaments for my tree and candles. A co-worker sent me some beautiful fall flowers. Now if I could just get my husband to do that every once in a while :) The evening got busy with scouts and a baby shower but all in all...it was a great birthday.
The football team has made the playoffs so that starts tomorrow. nope I want be going but I will be cheering them on in the warmth of my home :) Kayla will be there with the band. If it wasn't so cold I would go but I am still trying to get rid of this chest/sinus stuff I have now. We are starting to pack for our first ever Thanksgiving vacation :) the band director is not happy at us because I chose to keep Kayla out of band next friday football game so she could spend thanksgiving with her family. I think that is more important right now.
Been a scrapping fool. I scrapped about 11 pages over the last week. wooohoooo. Sharing a few of them with you right now. Hope you like them.
No calls from Scrapbook Trends....not really sure they like my pages that much but that is okay. I love them ;) I think I am about on the tail end of submitting. Just not interested anymore I guess...I don't know what it is...I am just having fun creating...that is what it is all about anyway.

We need your help
I have signed up to be the Team Captain for Autism Speaks in April here in Georgia. We will walk 3 miles and raise money to help children with Autism. This is near and dear to my heart because my little bud Justice (age 6) was diagnosised with Asperger's a few years ago.
I really want to work hard for Justice and raise as much money as I can. It's hard to do sometimes but I just know we can do it. If you would like to make a donation please follow the link to the right. It will take you to my team page. In a few months I will make some Autism beaded bracelets to sell so be on the look out for those.
Thank you in advance for your help in trying to get a handle on Autism.!
